- Assist in defining system requirements based on product management inputs.
- Help evaluate supplier solutions and their compatibility with the overall e‑bike system.
- Support assessment of new technologies for future e‑bike applications.
- Support the team in building and maintaining in‑house development and test platforms.
- Contribute ideas for creative, user‑focused system solutions.
System Validation & Testing
- Support system‑level validation activities (standalone system and complete bike).
- Assist with integration testing and evaluation of third‑party components (HW & FW).
- Work with mechanical and software engineers to identify issues and support fixes.
- Support the quality team in defining test scopes and test cases.
- Assist in field issue analysis and coordination with suppliers and customer service.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to best practices and system guidelines.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with:
- Battery & charger system engineers
- Motor and HMI teams
- Quality, software, and mechanical engineering
- Learn how to coordinate topics across system boundaries without owning every component technically.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- First experience in product development (internships, thesis, junior role).
- Basic understanding of embedded systems and vehicle electronics.
- Interest in system validation and integration.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, BLE, USB
- Structured, motivated, and willing to learn in a fast‑moving environment.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- English required; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%).
- Passion for cycling, sports technology, and innovation.
