Overview

VEC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our Business Development, Sales, and Marketing team. This role plays a key part in coordinating B2B marketing initiatives, supporting sales pursuits and proposals, facilitating the organization of marketing materials, and assisting with events that strengthen VEC’s brand presence and client engagement. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with the Marketing Manager, technical Marketing production specialists, and Operations staff to develop high-quality content, organize marketing activities, and ensure consistency across communications and promotional materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, acute organizational skills, self-drive, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Materials and Brand Management

  • Develop, edit, and maintain organization of marketing materials, including but not limited to presentations, case studies, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), Market Sector Packets, brochures, and content library.
  • Assist with website updates, social media content, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, internal requests from Operations staff, and company-wide communications from the Business Development, Sales, and Marketing team.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Support internal company initiatives that promote company culture and team engagement.
  • Prepare orders and shipments of marketing materials for client-related events and conferences.
  • Recommend improvements to marketing processes and workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain and update company-wide marketing resources, including the content library, project portfolios, and staff resumes.
  • Track marketing initiatives

Business Development and Sales Support

  • Support the Marketing Manager in executing marketing strategies related to business development and sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate and produce presentations, Request for Qualification (RFQ) responses, Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, and other sales pursuit materials
  • Write, review, and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with key messaging.
  • Work with Operations staff to gather project information, staff resumes, and project descriptions.
  • Collaborate with Operations staff to translate project information and technical content into clear marketing messaging.
  • Update and maintain inventory of marketing materials, including work product examples, brochures, and client merchandise.
  • Facilitate data management within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

Required Skills & Experience

Education (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Experience (Preferred)

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting proposals, marketing materials, or sales pursuit strategies.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or professional services industries is a plus.

  • Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is required.
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital marketing platforms is preferred.
