Immediate Full time Opportunities throughout Suffolk County to work with people with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

 

General Purpose of the Job Assist Residence Manager to perform all duties related to oversight of assigned residential program serving individuals with developmental disabilities.  Function as Manager in Manager's absence.

  • Train, supervise and evaluate all direct support professionals employed in the residence
  • Ensure staff are trained with the necessary skills to provide the appropriate care and support
  • Ensure families and advocates are informed of the individual's condition and progress
  • Monitor medication administration to ensure accuracy 
  • Ensure implementation of goals and plans are provided
  • Ensure the overall quality of the appearance of the residence
  • Ensure the program is in compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Direct support duties in absence of staff

 

Required Education:  High School Diploma or GED and One to six months experience

Must have valid and clean NYS Driver License
