Primary: Safety Programs & Administration
Administer and maintain company safety programs, policies, and procedures
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA and state agencies)
Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
Maintain OSHA logs (300, 300A, 301) and required regulatory reporting
Track and report key safety metrics (TRIR, DART, incident trends, leading indicators)
Develop and support plant safety training
Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory
Support emergency preparedness planning and drills
Lead safety committee meetings and follow up on action items
Partner with operations and maintenance teams to implement risk-reduction initiatives
Assist with workers’ compensation claim documentation and follow-up
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, or related field preferred
2–5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Experience with OSHA compliance and recordkeeping required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Ability to conduct investigations and perform root cause analysis
Strong organizational and documentation skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
Strong communication and training facilitation skills
Ability to influence and collaborate across departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
