One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Certified Massage Therapist to join the team.

Job Summary: 

The Certified Massage Therapist will perform massage and body treatments in a high-end customer service environment.  The successful candidate will love to help others and share their passion for therapeutic massage. The candidate will be professional and prompt, have a diverse understanding of anatomy and massage techniques, and be able to read client's needs accurately. 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: Starting $11.00 per hour plus commission
    • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Part Time or Full Time
  • Must be available weekends and holidays  

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain the highest level of massage services and knowledge and a complete understanding of all spa services presently offered.
  • Perform all treatments with regard to the guest's safety, wellbeing and privacy.
  • Begin and end all treatments on time.
  • Ensure all work areas are clean and sanitized.

Job Requirements: 

  • Possess Vermont massage license.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience providing massage services preferred.
  • Proficient in various types of massage such as Swedish and deep tissue, additional specialty modalities a plus.
  • Must be able to perform three to four consecutive massages.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
