As a Customer Engineer, you will collaborate directly with customer teams to provide expert advisory services across a range of technologies. By leveraging structured intellectual property (MIP) engagements, you will establish trusted advisor relationships and guide customers towards achieving a healthy and secure state. Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and operate Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Implement and manage Software‑Defined Networking (SDN) solutions, including Network ATC, to support scalable and resilient hybrid infrastructure.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and enterprise storage provisioning solutions.
- Enable and manage Azure Arc for Servers, extending Azure management, governance, and monitoring to on‑premises and hybrid environments.
- Architect, deploy, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions, including host pools, session hosts, profiles, and monitoring.
- Provision, manage, and optimize virtual machines across hybrid platforms, including Azure, Azure Local, Hyper‑V, and VMware.
- Configure and operate Azure Update Manager to provide centralized and compliant patch management across hybrid workloads.
- Implement observability and operational monitoring using Azure Monitor, ensuring proactive issue detection and performance optimization.
- Provide advanced administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for Windows Server environments (2012 R2–2025).
- Design and manage enterprise virtualization environments using Azure Stack HCI/Azure Local, Hyper‑V, VMware, and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).
- Architect and support Azure Hybrid Services, including:
- Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery for business continuity and disaster recovery
- Azure Migrate for discovery, assessment, and migration planning
- Azure Arc and Azure Monitor for unified management
- Azure Virtual Machines (IaaS) and Azure Virtual Desktop
- Plan and execute backup, recovery, and migration strategies using tools such as SCDPM, Veeam, Commvault, Carbonite, and Azure‑native services.
- Design and support Azure IaaS architectures, covering virtual networking, storage, compute, resiliency, and performance best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to modernize legacy infrastructure and guide adoption of hybrid and cloud solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices.

Skills and experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in conducting technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars to educate customers on the best practices and new features of Microsoft
