About the Role:
The Head of Product & Services Technology is a senior technology leader responsible for driving Prosperity’s product platform strategy, service technology modernization, and operational system transformation across the Retail, Life, and Annuities businesses. This role owns technology leadership for product platforms, the EXL strategic relationship, LC1–LC3 environments, and the enterprise OIPA conversion program.
In addition, this leader oversees Agent and Client digital portals and defines the enterprise Service Technology and Omnichannel strategy. Partnering closely with Product, Operations, Distribution, Data, Compliance, and the broader technology leadership team, this role ensures product and service technology capabilities enable growth, efficiency, and regulatory excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Product Platform & Services Technology Leadership
- Provide overall leadership for Product & Services Technology, including product platforms, servicing systems, and digital experiences
- Define and execute the enterprise Product and Service Technology strategy aligned with business priorities and customer needs
- Ensure technology solutions support product development, policy administration, and end-to-end servicing across life and annuities
Core Platform Modernization & OIPA Conversion
- Lead the enterprise OIPA conversion program, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and architectural standards
- Drive modernization of legacy product and service platforms to improve scalability, resilience, and maintainability
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture & Data leadership to ensure modernization aligns with enterprise standards
Vendor & Partner Management (EXL)
- Own and manage the EXL strategic relationship, ensuring delivery excellence, cost effectiveness, and accountability
- Oversee outsourced delivery models and vendor performance across product and service technology initiatives
- Ensure vendor solutions integrate effectively within Prosperity’s broader technology ecosystem
Release, Environment & Operational Readiness
- Provide oversight of LC1, LC2, and LC3 environments, ensuring disciplined release management and deployment governance
- Partner with delivery and operations teams to ensure environment stability, production readiness, and operational resilience
- Establish best practices for release coordination across product and service platforms
Digital Portals & Omnichannel Experience
- Oversee Agent and Client digital portals, delivering a modern, intuitive, and consistent user experience
- Define and execute the enterprise Service Technology and Omnichannel strategy across digital and assisted service channels
- Ensure digital experiences integrate seamlessly with backend product and servicing platforms
Strategic Partnership & Leadership
- Partner with Product, Operations, Distribution, Data, and Compliance leaders to ensure technology solutions meet business and regulatory needs
- Communicate technology roadmaps, risks, and progress to executive leadership
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing technology leaders across product and service domains
- Support enterprise transformation initiatives, including cloud migrations and system integrations
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience leading product, service, or platform technology within life insurance and annuities
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale transformation initiatives, including policy administration and servicing platforms
- Proven experience managing strategic vendor partnerships and outsourced delivery models
- Strong understanding of life insurance and annuity products, retail distribution, and policy servicing operations
- Experience with modern digital platforms, API integrations, and enterprise technology ecosystems
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities in complex, regulated environments - Ability to lead remotely and travel for business as needed

- A compensation package with a base range of $250,000 to $275,000 annually
