Job Summary: AdvancePCB provides electronic PCB assemblies to a variety of customers in the military, medical and commercial industries. The ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of best practices in the electronic assembly environment. We need highly motivated, well organized individuals to join this dynamic, versatile and growing business.


Job Responsibilities:

  • General knowledge of Surface Mount Technology and equipment operation
  • Experience operating and programing My data Surface Mount Equipment a plus
  • Experience using DEK Stencil printers a plus
  • Experience in reflow operation and profile generation a plus
  • Quality inspection experience is a plus
  • IPC-610 or J-Std certification is a plus
  • Strong aptitude for electronic and mechanical assembly practices
  • Familiar with structured BOMs, assembly drawings and kit identification
  • Must be agile and able to work multiple projects
  • Work well independently and in a group setting
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work at a fast pace environment
  • Flexibility with scheduling
  • Experience in Lean/6 Sigma a plus

Requirements

  • Proven experience in PCB assembly, particularly in a production environment.
  • IPC-A-610 or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Must have strong proficiency in both through-hole and surface mount soldering techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, circuit boards, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve soldering issues effectively.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documenting work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, as well as independently when required.
