Job Summary:
Maintenance Mechanic/Technicians are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery. This machinery can include factory machines, medical equipment, construction equipment, laboratory equipment, or machinery in other industries.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common manufacturing machines and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements
- Installing industrial machinery
- Observing mechanical devices in operation to locate the sources of problems and ensure the proper functioning of the machines
- Running basic diagnostic tests to detect minor problems
- Troubleshooting engines, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic and electrical equipment
- Disassembling machinery and equipment when needed
- Removing defective components and replacing them with new ones
- Adjusting and calibrating machinery to improve productivity
- Cleaning and lubricating the equipment and machinery
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment for everyone
- Collecting and summarizing analyses, activity logs, and trends for maintenance reports
- Ability to report to work and on time, as scheduled.
- Adheres to all safety measures and protocols.
