Position: Dietary Cook

Location: Cassville, MO

Shift: Full-Time Days/Evenings

Pay Rate: Starting $16hr & up

The ideal Dietary Cook candidate will have a passion for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary and nutritional requirements of residents in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.

  • Adhere to residents' dietary restrictions, preferences, and special requests.

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

  • Assist in planning menus and food preparation schedules.

  • Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to the supervisor.

  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely and accurate meal service.

  • Maintain records of food preparation, temperatures, and waste as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Dietary Cook in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and dietary requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

  • Certification in Food Safety or Serv Safe preferred (or willingness to obtain).
