Kendal~Crosslands Communities is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community (formerly known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community) located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Founded on Quaker values, we offer Independent Living cottages and apartments, Personal Care, and Skilled Nursing all nestled on over 500 acres of rolling countryside in the heart of the Brandywine Valley.

IT Internship
The KCC IT Intern will work closely with the IT team to support staff and residents through troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. The intern will assist with deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure, tracking and labeling IT assets, and setting up computers and laptops. Additional responsibilities include supporting IT projects, maintaining data closets, and assisting with the proper disposal and documentation of deprecated equipment. This internship is an excellent opportunity for those interested in computer sciences, information technology, engineering, or management.

Sales and Marketing Internship
We are seeking a Summer Intern to support our Sales and Marketing team in attracting new residents and promoting our community. This role provides hands-on experience working with marketing databases such as Welcome Home and HubSpot, assisting with prospect outreach, and supporting event planning for prospective residents. The intern will collaborate closely with a dynamic, purpose-driven marketing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students interested in marketing, sales, event planning, or senior living services.

Human Resources Internship
The Human Resources Intern will participate in project‑driven work focused on onboarding development, policy creation and implementation, HR technology initiatives, and auditing staffing functions such as MVR processes and staff vehicle audits. Life Enrichment Internship
Support the Life Enrichment team by assisting with resident activities, events, and engagement programs. Gain understanding of the aging process and the physical and cognitive changes of aging. This intern will work with the interdisciplinary health services team and will gain knowledge of the many aspects of long-term elder care. This role provides valuable experience in recreation therapy, art therapy, music therapy, social services, or healthcare-related fields.
