Supply Chain Manager


 


As Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that customers receive the right products at the right time, while driving supply chain performance and developing your team. You will be part of the plant management team and the Grid & Connect Norway leadership team. Nexans is a global company with growth ambitions within an important market. YOUR ONBOARDING


You will receive thorough training in our processes, systems, and organization. You will help shape the strategic direction of the supply chain function and further strengthen our Lean practices and continuous improvement culture.


 


HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT


You will be responsible for:


· High delivery performance and customer satisfaction


· Optimizing inventories, capacities, and material flows


· Developing and motivating your team


· Driving the S&OP process and ensuring quality forecasting


· Strengthening a culture of safety and operational excellence


 


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY


Overall responsibilities:


· Lead the Supply Chain department for Grid & Connect Norway


· Ensure correct service levels and optimal stock and working capital


· Responsible for Purchasing, Sourcing, Planning, and S&OP


· Lead and develop the team with strong focus on safety and competence


· Further develop Lean methodology and business efficiency


· Influence and analyze important strategic decisions for our competitiveness


 


Key tasks


· Manage material flow from raw materials to finished goods with minimum inventory


· Ensure high service to customers, including close follow-up of key accounts


· Lead the S&OP planning and forecasting process


· Contribute to added services and customer value


· Participate in the plant management team and the Grid & Connect Norway management team


· Support business growth and profitability


· Lead the operational purchasing and planning


· Act as Nordic supply chain contact

YOUR STARTING POINT:


Education and experience


· University degree within business or engineering. Preferably within supply chain


· Management experience


· Strong supply chain knowledge


· Solid IT understanding, especially master data structures


· Experience with S&OP is preferred


· Industrial experience is an advantage
