Position Summary
As a Logistics Manager at EMR, you’ll play a key role in supporting our business operations, driving initiatives and helping us build a cleaner, more sustainable future. In this role, you’ll have P&L responsibility, with the intent of creating efficiencies, driving cost savings initiatives, and promoting the safety culture required to meet local, state and federal regulations, in addition to company standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage expenses and explore/implement cost savings opportunities simultaneously maintaining a high level of service.
- Drive a positive safety culture throughout the Region and promote safe working practices.
- Oversee and promote excellent standards of customer service, both internal and external.
- Oversee the management of the staff and drivers, including recruitment, training, HR functions, etc.
- Manage activities related to efficient dispatching, routing and tracking EMR vehicles and transportation assets.
- Report to senior leadership on P&L performance, operational results, and yearly initiatives.
- Identify process optimizations and technology integration to streamline and improve performance.
Qualifications
- Proven success managing full P&L and logistics operations
- Experience in implementing transportation efficiencies and cost controls
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills at all levels of the organization
- Minimum of 3-5 years of road transport management experience
- Previous experience managing transportation staff and assets across multiple sites
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
