Job Description

Description

  • Keep building entrances clean to include windows, floor, trash, etc.  
  • Respond to all service calls
  • Provide emergency cleanup services. 
  • Police, clean/ supply restrooms when needed.  
  • Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
  • Check all outside trash cans and remove if needed
  • Clean assigned secure areas
  • Inform Supervisor/Management of needed supplies
  • Report all deficiencies, lost or broken equipment, and damaged property and other discrepancies to the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines when using equipment or mixing cleaning solution and comply with safety guidelines.
  • Check Boiler functions (water levels and pressure gages) every 2 hours and record findings in assigned log book
  • Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and other licensing or state agency of local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request
  • Shifts available: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-10:00pm or Sunday-Thursday 8:00am-3:00pm

Requirements

  • Must be able to meet the minimum productivity standard of assigned work location.
  • Ability to understand and execute assigned tasks.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Valid Boiler Operator Low Pressure License (Black Seal License)

 

Necessary Special Requirements

  • Employee will be required to complete all clearances as necessary per regulatory requirements.

Summary

Under the direction of the Janitorial Supervisor/ Project Manager, provides cleaning, emergency service calls, policing of restrooms, offices and other areas as assigned in accordance with Statement of Work and outlined by management. In addition, you will be responsible to check the boiler operations and record all findings every 2 hours in accordance with the Department of Labor requirements.
