The Opportunity
We are looking for an Assistant Engineer with a civil engineering degree. This is an entry level position. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, is team oriented, and personable. This position requires a dependable, and versatile individual. Candidates are not required to have an Engineer In Training (EIT) registration, but EIT registration is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare simple designs, reports, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards under general supervision
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- California EIT Registration or actively pursuing EIT
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable, problem solver, professional attitude and behavior
- Self-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detail
- Solid experience with the MS Office Suite
We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.
