Position Overview

The Eminent Speaker will provide instruction of Hoocąk language instruction to learners of various proficiencies in an effort to revitalize the Hoocąk language as a instructor and mentor. The Eminent Speaker is a first language speaker who will provide a service as a resource to the communities, and staff in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the Hoocąk Language Division.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE)

1. First Language Speaker.
2. The following are preferred but not required: valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
3. Individual must be able to pass a criminal background investigation according to State Licensing requirements.
