    Nazareth is seeking a full-time experienced Theology teacher for the 26-27 school year. This position includes teaching five classes and a supervision assignment. The ability to plan and implement high-quality, engaging, and rigorous learning experiences in a block schedule is a priority, as is collaborating with other teachers within the department and adhering to all department policies. Nazareth is committed to educating the whole student; therefore, building positive relationships with students and cultivating a safe and encouraging learning environment is essential. Candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the mission of Nazareth Academy and the Congregation of St. Joseph.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Arts degree (Master's preferred) in Theology or related field
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
    • Valid Professional Educator License (preferred)

    Preferred Experience:

    • Teaching or student teaching at the high school level
    • Ability to use technology in instruction and for student learning
    • Familiarity with 1:1 iPad use in the classroom 
    • Familiarity with Google Classroom
    • Commitment to student success 
    • Engaging students in a block schedule
    • Interest in coaching OR moderating student clubs/activities
