Purity Bakeries Ltd, a leading manufacturer of bread and bakery products, is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team as Customer Service Representative Team Lead. This position reports to the Retail Manager.
THE ROLE:
The Customer Service Representative Team Lead’s primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Directs the Customer Service Team of Shippers and Customer Service Representatives and leads by example - on the best ways to approach customers (both internal and external) as they attend to their needs.
· Fills in for Supervisors as may be necessary
· Provides exceptional service to customers and ensures their needs are being met in a timely fashion.
Resolves customer complaints in a timely manner whether received via phone, email, mail, in person or social media.
· Make recommendations to customers with a view towards increasing sales.
· Processes sales transactions in a timely manner.
· Issue, receive and reconcile currency daily and to process cash receipts/managers to accurately record all currency takings for the business.
· Ensure all food handling processes are exercised in line with all required health standards as designated by our QA personnel
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
A minimum of five (5) CXC’s including English Language and Mathematics.
An Associate Degree in Business Studies, a Certificate in Supervisory Management and two (2) years’ experience in a sales or customer service environment.
Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft office suite of products
Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to engage customers, promote products, and build lasting relationships.
Must be reliable, trustworthy, and capable of managing cash, inventory, and daily reporting accurately.
Must be a self‑motivated individual who demonstrates a willingness to assist and presents themselves professionally.
Able to exercise initiative
The ability to work varied hours and days, including weekends, public holidays and nights as may be necessary.
