• Directs all manufacturing plants as assigned through the appropriate Managing Director or VP, ensuring effective actions are being undertaken at each facility to constantly improve operating performance.
• Responsible for the Logistics business in El Paso Texas and in Juarez Mexico.
• Ensures there is a smooth process for border multi-location operation in compliance with all US, Mexico, and European government regulations, as well as Technimark policies for movement of raw material, assembled product, equipment, supplies, and retuned product.
• Provide performance and potential feedback for direct reports, partnering with them to prepare short- and long-term development plans.
• Sets standards for safe behavior. Ensures that direct reports employ safety practices. Enforces safety policies and procedures. Represents Juarez Technimark operating company upon Mexico Customs.
• Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained.
• Supports and implements Lean Manufacturing tools and policies.
• Reviews operational performance daily against plant and standards. Provides reports to subordinates and management interpreting results and recommending improvements.
• Initiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to plant property.
• Supports and leads cost reduction initiatives with external suppliers.
• Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs performance within functional areas as well as operation goals and KPIs.
• Provides outstanding customers service standards and provides feedback to management about customer needs and requests.
• Manages program cost evolution and profitability of the current programs comparing to BOMs and quotation assumptions.
• Leads efforts to implement new programs/projects with equipment, manpower and facility infrastructure
