Job Description



As a Peer Facilitator, you will coordinate and facilitate Celebrating Families groups with families enrolled in the Tarrant Family Recovery Court program. Celebrating Families is an evidence-based, trauma-informed, skill building program for families with children ages birth -18 years old and their caregivers dealing with, or at high risk for, multiple problems: substance use disorders (SUD); multi-generational trauma; physical and mental health challenges; cognitive deficits due to trauma, genetics, or in-utero exposure; and safety (child abuse/neglect and family violence).  Training on specific groups offered will be provided.   As a Peer Facilitator you will be a member of the Family Recovery Court team that is comprised of other community partners.

Minimum Education: Associate Degree
Defined Education: Health and Human Service field
Substitutions: High school diploma/GED with two (2) years of direct service experience in a health and human services field OR two (2) years leadership as a parent in assigned geographic area
License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License
