Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the full cycle of the recruiting function and contributes to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the recruiting process.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Oversee the coordination and administration of new hire process from offer letter through first day orientation for multiple sites.
  • Draft and send offer letters, process background check and preemployment drug screening and manage new hire paperwork to include DOT safety sensitive documentation.
  • Manage new hires in various systems related to their onboarding steps.
  • Communicate effectively with new hires and hiring leaders throughout the onboarding process.
  • Work closely with new hires, providing support with onboarding steps as needed.  
  • Manage, schedule, and set up for onboarding presentation.
  • Troubleshoot and navigate errors in onboarding process to avoid disruption in onboarding.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure onboarding steps are processed and raise concerns appropriately and timely.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the Recruiting and/or HR teams.
  • Identify and support projects that contribute to process improvement.
  • Oversee vendor communication.
  • High ability to manage self, assigned tasks and duties.
  • Provide ad hoc support as need for various “one-off” tasks.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:

Required: High School Diploma.

Experience:

  • Prefer candidate with 1+ years of previous experience in area of responsibility and/or basic administrative experience, clerical duties.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong customer service orientation, along with the proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a high volume, fast paced work environment
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Power Point
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Initiative, flexibility and a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong administrative techniques
  • Cooperative, interpersonal skills organized and detailed oriented.
