Description

The Senior Treasury Management Specialist supports and enhances the Bank’s treasury management sales, service, and operational efforts. This role serves as a key partner to Commercial Relationship Managers and internal teams, working directly with business customers to assess needs, implement solutions, and optimize treasury services.

This position plays a critical role in expanding and retaining customer relationships, supporting complex product implementations, and driving deposit and revenue growth. The Senior Specialist operates with a high level of autonomy and serves as a subject matter expert within the department.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with Commercial Relationship Managers, Branch Managers, and other internal teams to assess and deliver treasury management solutions for business clients 
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to drive deposit growth, fee income, and customer profitability 
  • Lead onboarding and implementation of treasury management products and services, including more complex client setups 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for treasury management clients, providing consultative support and resolving complex issues 
  • Deliver in-depth operational and technical expertise across treasury products, including: 
  • ACH origination and risk controls 
  • Remote Deposit Capture 
  • Positive Pay and fraud mitigation tools 
  • Online wires, sweeps, and account analysis 
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing service delivery 
  • Perform and/or oversee periodic reviews of ACH, RDC, and other high-risk services to ensure compliance 
  • Support and contribute to deposit and revenue growth goals through product recommendations and cross-selling 
  • Assist in developing and delivering training for commercial and retail staff on treasury management products and sales opportunities 
  • Act as a resource and mentor to junior team members 
  • Support development and implementation of new products, processes, and procedures 
  • Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements 
  • Serve as backup to department leadership on systems, processes, and escalations 
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and projects as needed


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 4–7+ years of banking or treasury management experience
  • Strong knowledge of treasury management products, services, and related systems
  • Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Strong sales, relationship management, and consultative skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
