JOB SUMMARY
The I.T. Systems Administrator supports the organization, maintenance, and improvement of existing I.T. infrastructure and is responsible for a wide range of technical functions that ensure systems reliability and performance optimization. The I.T. Systems Administrator also performs server updates, works with vendors, and provides application and helpdesk support. This position may include a 24-hour on-call rotation and occasional weekend work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
Education, Training, and/or Experience
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Information Technology role
- Valid Driver’s License preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification
- CompTIA Network+ Certification or equivalent preferred
- CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent preferred
- MCSA/MCSE preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Respond to IT support calls and requests; follow up and track work orders in the IT Support site
- Support users onsite (multiple locations) and remotely; troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues
- Conduct proactive walkthroughs to strengthen relationships and improve processes
- Build on and maintain Active Directory
- Move, migrate and repair servers and computer hardware as necessary
- Support Microsoft applications, user business applications, mobile and tablet operating systems (e.g., iOS, Android)
- Install operating systems and user applications on computers; deploy user PCs and VoIP phones
- Build and implement new IT systems
- Identify ways to improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency; investigate existing and emerging technologies
- Maintain positive relationships with all vendors and internal customers; assist and mentor peers
- Order and maintain inventory of materials and equipment necessary for routine maintenance or common requests
- Help educate team members in the use of technology
- Execute policies, procedures, protocols and controls that govern the IT Department
- Other duties as assigned
