About the Department

The Bathhouse / Slide Attendant plays a key role in providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all pool guests. This position is responsible for supervising the waterslide area, assisting customers in the bathhouse, and supporting overall facility operations.This is not a lifeguarding position, and no certification is required to apply.

You are required to be at the pool on the dates and weeks listed below.  If you can't make it on those dates required, please contact the Recreation Supervisor at 329-2465 before filling out the application.
Sunday, May 17th - 9am-4pm
Monday, June 8th - 8am-4pm
Tuesday, June 9th - 9am-4pm
Wednesday, June 10th - 9am-4pm
Thursday, June 11th - 9am-4pm
Friday, June12th - 9am-4pm

Position Duties

• Participate in pre-season staff orientation/training program.
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Keep all lifesaving equipment and first aid supplies in readiness.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facilities, including walkways, showers, restrooms and parking lot.
• Follow all department policies and procedures.
• Monitor and supervise the top of the waterslide to ensure safe and proper use
• Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines in a positive and professional manner
• Assist guests in the bathhouse with pool passes, admissions, and general questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of locker rooms and restrooms, including routine checks
• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain attentive and responsible in a fast-paced environment

Other Qualifications

• Primarily stationed at the top of the waterslide and within the bathhouse
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and humid environments
• Requires standing for extended periods and maintaining alertness
