Western Wisconsin Health is looking for a casual Medical Technologist to join our Laboratory. The Medical Technologist would be responsible for obtaining lab samples, performs accurately and efficiently all ordered lab work. All of this is done to support the organization’s mission while living our values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with up to four years related experience and/or training; or Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Science with at least four years of lab training or experience or both in high complexity testing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clinical Laboratory Science from accredited institution
  • Certificate from Board of Registry from ASCP or NCA for MT or CLS within 9 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information
  • Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of electronic medical records
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
