Job Summary
The Administrative Intern will support daily business operations while gaining hands-on experience in administrative processes, Human Resources, Payroll, Procurement, Inventory Control, and Project Coordination. The role is designed for a current college student pursuing a relevant-related degree who is seeking practical exposure to business operations, compliance, and organizational processes within a professional work environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a relevant-related degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a professional environment.
Preferred
- Administrative or customer service experience.
- Experience with spreadsheets, data entry, or business systems.
- Interest in Administrative processes and reporting, payroll, procurement, or business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain accurate records and spreadsheets.
- Attend meetings, document key notes, and assist with follow-up actions.
Projects & Collaboration
- Conduct research and gather data to support business decisions.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Support company event coordination and cross-departmental activities.
Human Resources & Payroll
- Assist with recruiting activities, including application tracking and interview scheduling.
- Support onboarding by preparing documentation and organizing employee files.
- Assist with payroll processing by reviewing timekeeping records and organizing payroll documentation.
Procurement, Inventory & Operations
- Support procurement activities, including purchase requests, vendor communication, and order tracking.
- Assist with inventory tracking, supply monitoring, and restocking coordination.
- Provide support for MES-related administrative processes as assigned.
Safety, Compliance & Confidentiality
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, policies, and quality standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, payroll, procurement, and business records.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
- Professional office and plant operations environment.
- Frequent interaction with employees, supervisors, and vendors.
- Exposure to multiple business functions and cross-departmental operations.
