Frankfort Pediatrics is a compassionate and family-centered pediatric primary care clinic dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible care to children from infancy through adolescence. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both our patients and staff. 





We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric team. The LPN/RN will play a vital role in supporting providers, listening to families, and delivering exceptional care to our young patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about pediatrics and enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic setting. 



 



 



Job Functions/Responsibilities:




  • Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinical activities, needs, and problems related to patient care

  • Complies with established patient care standards.

  • Maintains established clinical policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.

  • Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.

  • Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee interdepartmental and public relations.

  • Greets patient and escort them to the exam room.

  • Takes and records vital and patient medical information in chart.

  • Prepares patient room for exam.

  • Assist Provider in procedures as necessary.

  • Completes ordered lab procedures.

  • Administer IM, Sub Q injections to include immunizations.

  • Wound care and suture removal as directed by Provider.

  • Communicate results of all procedures and tests to Provider.

  • Discharge patient to receptionist.

  • Cleans and disinfects exam rooms after use.

  • Restock supplies, linens, equipment, and checks for defects and outdated.

  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars and educational sessions are required.

  • Other duties as assigned.
