SUMMARY
The Deposit Services Support Specialist II is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of assigned tasks related to the Deposit Services area. This position operates in a fast-paced environment with several processing time frames, compliance regulations, and daily deadlines. This position is also responsible for supporting team members in the Banking Centers that are assisting clients with inquiries and issues.
The Deposit Services Support Specialist II performs complex, non-routine operational tasks, including reconciliations, regulatory support, and exception handling, reflecting expanded scope and autonomy beyond Level I while remaining subject to established procedures and management review.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a variety of maintenance on deposit accounts, (i.e. title changes, name and address changes, rate changes, PRA, Linked Transfer, etc.); perform all necessary steps to complete change accurately, submit maintenance offsets for review, and maintain an acceptable error ratio.
- Responsible for monitoring signed Stop Payment letters in accordance with UCC guidelines.
- Assist with tax levy, and summons processing in accordance with established state and federal procedures and research and resolve outstanding items.
- Assists with the maintenance of Retirement Database.
- Download retirement accounts daily, review for maintenance reports and account for offsets, verify offset to report, research discrepancies and errors, determine appropriate steps for correction, and submit corrections for processing.
- Reviews and completes new plan setup, reviews contributions and distributions, verifies accuracy of all information, identifies corrections, and submits for processing
- Contact branch personnel for missing or incomplete retirement documentation
- Assist customers and branch personal with complex inquires and death distributions.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of all applicable banking rules and regulations; complete all internal Company training as assigned and required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 24 months relevant work experience in Banking Operations or Deposit Services
- Demonstrate solid working knowledge of deposit regulations, tax levies and legal processing.
- Exposure to legal, regulatory, or high-risk operational tasks under review
- Familiarity with FIS Contact Center SRM and CMSE is preferred.

- Ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers.

- Knowledge of general banking regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Database, and PowerPoint.

- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.

PAY RANGE DISCLOSURE
The pay range for this position is $25.74 to $33.19 per hour and is the lowest to highest range Charlesbridge in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
