Position Summary

BB&E is currently looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Facility Planners (Entry, Mid, and Senior Level) to support the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron (35 CES) at Misawa Air Base, Japan. This role is responsible for planning, design, construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of facilities in support of Air Force infrastructure and mission requirements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze facility requirements for new construction, renovation, and sustainment projects
• Perform space planning and utilization analysis to support installation optimization efforts
• Support planning, programming, and development of infrastructure projects
• Ensure compliance with Air Force policies, planning criteria, and safety standards
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and Government stakeholders to align planning efforts
• Develop and present Courses of Action (COAs) with supporting data and risk analysis
• Integrate planning inputs from systems such as GIS, SMS (BUILDER/PAVER), and other data sources
• Assist in development of planning documents, reports, and briefings for leadership decision-making
• Support long-range planning, investment strategies, and facility lifecycle management initiatives
• Provide input to Monthly Status Reports (MSR) and other required deliverables
