ANTICIPATED OPENING: Hinsdale District 86 is looking to hire Science teachers for openings at Hinsdale South High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate possesses strong content knowledge and the willingness and ability to teach students at differing academic levels. This position is within the Science Department and may include teaching a variety of courses, possibly including, although not limited to, Physics and/or AP Physics, Biology and/or AP Biology, Earth Science, and Chemistry.

TIMELINE: Anticipated openings will be posted on the District 86 website in January 2026. Screener interviews are scheduled to begin in late February or early March. Interested candidates should submit a completed application by February 20, 2026, for review. No interviews will occur prior to this time.

Qualifications/Skills: Candidates must have a valid State of Illinois PEL with an endorsement in the science fields relevant to the position needs.
