    Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling or Psychology and Maine Licensure (LCSW) and current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education.

    Position Description: MSAD #11 is seeking a dynamic and compassionate School Social Worker to join our Student Support Team. This role is designed to provide school-based social work services across all grade levels within the school. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting student well-being, promoting positive school climates, and collaborating with educators, families, and community partners to support student success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct support and interventions to students, including individual and group counseling sessions, as well as crisis response.
    • Collaborate with special educators, support staff, service providers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement strategies that address student needs.
    • Assist school and district teams with social-emotional learning, behavior intervention planning, and attendance improvement efforts.
    • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district policies and state/federal regulations.
    • Participate in IEP meetings, offering data-informed feedback to support the development of appropriate goals.
    • Conduct regular progress monitoring to track student growth and inform service adjustments.
