Overview

Trench Canada is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student to join the After Sales team in the Instrument Transformers division. In this position, you will support daily after-sales activities, work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely repairs and help maintain high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, basic knowledge of data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively. You will use data analytics and AI tools to identify and predict equipment failure patterns and automate processes to boost efficiency.

Trench Canada is known for its expertise in the transformer business and specializes in designing, manufacturing, and servicing instrument transformers and related products. Trench Canada's solutions are often used in various applications, such as utility power distribution, renewable energy systems, industrial facilities, and more.

Your Tasks:


  • Work in collaboration with the Engineering and Quality teams to support customers with inquiries and complaints. 
  • Review current After Sales workflows and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Propose and implement process enhancements to streamline operations. 
  • Review and revise existing procedures to ensure they accurately reflect current practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and clarity in all processes.
  • Identify trends in order data, analyze customer feedback and work alongside the Operational Excellence team to identify opportunities for system automation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of automation solutions to reduce manual tasks.
  • Develop automation for after sales order tracking to complete the project cycle.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:


  • Must be currently enrolled (or recently concluded) in an Engineering program.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience with data analysis and AI tools are an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies is preferred.
