Job Description

Job description: Responsible for the shipping of parts to customers and vendors in a timely and cost effective manner. Responsible for receiving all parts and materials from vendors and work orders on a daily basis. All parts and material is received correctly, properly staged, marked and readily available for use. Accuracy of received parts moved into inventory. Inventory counts must be conducted for consumables, safety products, janitorial products and finished products. Responsible for the safety of self and other in work area. Must be able to work with all internal and external customers as related to shipping and receiving.

 Formal Requirements and Certifications of Job – 

Required

  • Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Excellent computer skills 
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in shipping and receiving
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions as needed
  • Dependable and flexible

Special Demands 

  • Lift or carry up to 75lbs
