This role will lead the entire recruitment process, from crafting compelling job descriptions and screening top candidates to coordinating seamless onboarding with the HR team. Role & Responsibilities
Owns the Recruitment Process:
•Partners with hiring managers to create job descriptions, set salary ranges, and ensure compliance.
•Screens and selects top candidates, coordinates interviews and leads communication efforts by providing timely updates for a positive internal and external experience.
•Collaborates with the Learning & Development team and the HR Business Partner for a smooth onboarding and training experience.
•Engages in career fairs and networking events to expand reach.
Enhances Recruitment Efficiency:
•Proposes and implements recruitment- focused policies and programs to streamline hiring practices and enhance the candidate experience while driving efficiencies.
•Utilizes data/metrics to assess and optimize processes.
•Actively seeks feedback from hiring managers and candidates to identify areas for improvement, driving improvements that support a more effective and engaging recruitment process.
Collaborates on Workforce Planning:
•Partners with the TA Manager, Talent Acquisition team, HR Business Partner and Hiring Managers to strategize and execute effective hiring plans.
Supports and Responds:
•Manages files, answers inquiries, and provides quick resolutions or escalations to keep things running smoothly.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
•Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field, and/or 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience with a focus on specialist roles demanding specific backgrounds, technical expertise, and experience.
•Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel and able to learn new technology and programs including applicant tracking, onboarding or other human resources information systems.
•Understanding of employment related, state and federal laws, regulations and forms, including AAP, EEO and other recruitment related best practices.
•Familiarity with HR Processes and HRIS systems.
•Previous experience in union and non-union construction industry preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements
•This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
•This position is generally sedentary. Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
•This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
•This position may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Schedule and Environment
•Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented construction environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments.
•Works with a variety of people including employees, managers and applicants.
•Must be able to meet recruitment schedule needs, including occasional travel and evening hours for career fairs and interviews.
Pay Range:
$76,800.00 - $102,400.00Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
