Job Description

Join us as a Grounds & Building Maintenance Technician, where you’ll support the upkeep of both buildings and outdoor areas while working hands‑on across a variety of maintenance tasks. This role blends indoor and outdoor work, often in changing weather and an active industrial setting. You’ll stay engaged with a mix of repairs, groundskeeping, equipment upkeep, and facility improvement projects.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Performing routine repairs on building structures including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and windows,
  • Carrying out groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, landscaping, and seasonal property maintenance,
  • Inspecting and maintaining walkways, parking lots, fencing, drainage systems, and general outdoor infrastructure,
  • Completing basic plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and clearing drains,
  • Supporting electrical maintenance such as replacing bulbs, assisting with troubleshooting, and helping electricians when needed,
  • Operating and maintaining lawn equipment, utility vehicles, power tools, and other maintenance machinery,
  • Performing preventive maintenance on non‑process facility systems and equipment,
  • Responding to maintenance work orders promptly and documenting completed tasks,
  • Repairing and maintaining signage, handrails, barriers, and other facility features,
  • Identifying and reporting safety concerns, hazards, and repair needs,
  • Working both indoors and outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions,
  • Navigating an active industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and similar elements,
  • Wearing and correctly using required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the workday,
  • Climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling, and performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
