Job Description

For more than a century, Yokogawa has been helping industrial organizations run their processes safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Today, those same organizations are navigating rapid change — from digital transformation and sustainability ambitions to growing operational complexity.

Yokogawa stands alongside its customers in these transitions, combining deep industry expertise with advanced automation, control, and digital solutions.

The belief is simple: the strongest results are achieved when technology, people, and trust come together.

This philosophy is captured in one guiding principle — Co-innovating tomorrow — building industrial environments together that remain resilient, efficient, and future-ready.

As Deputy Product Marketing Manager, you will own the full product marketing lifecycle—from positioning and messaging to launch execution and market expansion. Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, you will act as a senior business leader, partnering closely with Product, Sales, Service, OpCos, and Channel Partners to drive growth across European markets.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience scaling complex products in the European process industry, combining strategic leadership with strong commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Business Leadership

  • Define and lead the product business strategy across Europe.
  • Own OpCo-level business planning, including budgets, funnel management, and monthly forecasting.
  • Drive market expansion and MRO business growth in collaboration with OpCos and channel partners.
  • Support annual business agreements with OEMs and skid builders to optimize SG&A and ensure direct sales focus on new customer development.

Go-to-Market & Product Marketing

  • Develop and execute end-to-end product marketing strategies, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch plans for new and existing products.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions.
  • Create high-impact enablement assets such as:
  • Battle cards
  • Whitepapers
  • Case studies
  • Sales and partner enablement materials

Sales, OpCo & Channel Enablement

  • Conduct joint customer visits with OpCos and channel partners, supporting technical and commercial discussions.
  • Coach and motivate OpCo sales teams and product specialists to achieve budget and growth targets.
  • Map OpCo skill sets and lead the development of redundant and scalable product expertise across Europe, supported by the Product Marketing (PMK) team and structured knowledge programs.
  • Hold monthly performance and pipeline reviews with OpCos; evaluate results and recommend corrective actions where needed.

Stakeholder & Operational Alignment

  • Build strong, trust-based working relationships with OpCos to foster collaboration and accountability.
  • Align closely with the Internal Sales Support team (SSC Romania) to strengthen product business execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with channel partners and OpCos to ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, business management, or commercial leadership.
  • 5+ years in a senior or leadership role, managing cross-country or European scope.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling products within the European process industry.
  • Strong analytical capability combined with excellent storytelling and communication skills.
  • Ability to bridge technical depth with commercial impact and customer value.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on execution levels.
