    Hours Per Day:         4.50 (8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)        
    Work Year:                12 Months        
    Minimum Pay Rate:  $16.50 Per Hour 
    Classification:           Non-Competitive

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Delivery and pickup of all US Mail, UPS and FedEx packages to all buildings.
    • Off campus deliveries and pickups (ie: BOCES, CaTs, Wards).
    • Delivery of suspension letters.
    • Backup for mailroom (ie: postmark mail, sorting and delivery).
    • Ability to perform duties in varying climate conditions.
    • Maintains logs and records of daily work activity and inventory.
    • Able to perform minor maintenance tasks in connection with the courier vehicle.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.

       

       

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
    • Possession of a valid New York State Motor Vehicle Operator's license (Class D) and clean driving record are required at the time of appointment.
    • Position requires lifting (minimum 50 lbs).
    • Candidates may be required to pass a physical examination to determine ability to perform the job.
    • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • The ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues.
    • The ability to carry out oral and written instructions.
    • Displays a positive attitude and builds healthy relationships with students, staff and families.
