Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support the students and staff at Schoolcraft Elementary as an Eagle Zone Aide. This part-time position involves providing assistance during the before and after-school programs, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Responsibilities
- Supervise students during before and/or after-school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist in organizing and leading recreational and educational activities.
- Provide support to students with homework and academic tasks as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging teamwork and cooperation.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student behavior and progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all materials and equipment are properly stored.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the program coordinator or school administration.

Preferred Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education or child development is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the growth and development of students.
- Must pass background checks as required by school policy.
- Availability to work after school hours, including potential evenings or special events.
