Job Description:

Has a basic working knowledge of all unit functions and is responsible for performing clerical duties and maintaining and organizing all necessary equipment and supplies. Coordinates with nursing staff regarding each telemetry patients assigned telemetry and admits/discharges patient on telemetry monitor. Notifies RN about heart rate and rhythm when patients are off telemetry and/or pulse oximetry. Keeps current and updated information on telemetry logs. Responsible for adjusting telemetry monitor screens when notified by the RN. Additional duties may include scheduling appointments, charging, compiling and copying medical charts, reports, and other duties as assigned.Education:
▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
▪ Preferred: Previous Nurse Assistant experience
Skills:
▪ Able to communicate and work with a wide variety of staff, patients and families
▪ Exhibits valuable time management skills
▪ Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
▪ Basic computer skills
▪ Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
▪ Preferred: BLS within 90 Days of hire
