Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our Corporate Automation team to support the design, implementation, and optimization of smart factory systems. You will work hands-on with DCS/PLCs, SCADA platforms, and IIoT data pipelines to help bridge OT and IT layers as part of our ongoing Industry 4.0 transformation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
—  Develop and test DCS/PLC/HMI programs for process automation and interlocks.
—  Integrate machine data into SCADA/MES systems and IIoT data pipelines using OPC-UA and MQTT protocols.
—  Build dashboards to visualize real-time KPIs and alarms.
—  Support digital twin modeling and simulation for process validation and virtual commissioning.
—  Document control logic, P&IDs, and standard operating procedures to ISA-88/ISA-95 standards.
—  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and data engineering.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
—  Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
—  Foundational knowledge of DCS/PLCs, process control theory (PID loops, feedback systems), and industrial communication protocols.
—  Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or ladder/structured text languages.
—  Familiarity with sensor instrumentation, actuators, and control panels.
—  Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
—  Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced plant environment.

NICE TO HAVE
—  Experience with cloud platforms or edge computing devices.
—  Exposure to machine learning for predictive maintenance or anomaly detection.
—  Coursework or project work in robotics, mechatronics, or computer vision.
—  Familiarity with cybersecurity principles in OT/ICS environments (ISA/IEC 62443).

WHAT WE OFFER
—  Mentorship from senior controls and process engineers with regular 1:1 check-ins.
—  Exposure to live production environments and real Industry 4.0 transformation projects.
—  Potential for return offer into a full-time associate engineer role upon graduation.
