In this role, you will...
Assist in the design, development, testing, and delivery of internal Vue/.NET applications that support business decisions and operational goals. Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective solutions through code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with interpreting and comprehending business and technical requirements and translating those requirements into code that supports business objectives.
- Assist in peer reviews of code submitted to the team repository.
- Represent the department in cross-functional projects while partnering across the organization to support key business priorities and initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining and developing application features using .NET and related technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.
- Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to identify and resolve issues.
- Attend regular one-on-one meetings with assigned mentor and supervisor to review progress, discuss learning goals, and receive coaching and feedback.
- Follow weekly internship schedules, complete assigned work, and demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and development methodologies.
- Represent the department in cross-functional projects and collaborate with team members across the organization to support key business priorities and initiatives.
- Document work, research, and technical findings, and present updates or recommendations upon request.
- Use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, to schedule meetings, prepare correspondence, and support project documentation.
- May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing to provide consistent quality customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program and pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in one of the following technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Vue3, C, Java.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning with an eagerness to learn emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word or Outlook.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the department.
- Reliable transportation required.
Hours of Work:
Monday through Friday.
Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; operate computer and phone systems; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee is required to be physically present in the office. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
