About The Role
At Preston Playhouse as a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for guests. Your role is vital in creating a positive first impression and ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors receives outstanding service. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Check in guests and manage reservation systems for club facilities
- Handle guest requests, concerns, or complaints with discretion and efficiency
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as mail distribution, scheduling, and data entry
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
- Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers and standard office software (Microsoft Office, POS/Club Automation)
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
