Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with government contracts and a solid understanding of cost accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and process transactions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· Support audits conducted by agencies such as DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency)

· Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

· Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

· Support monthly billing process

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

· 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in government contracting

· Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense

· Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, and GAAP

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

· Experience with DCAA audits and compliance requirements

· Familiarity with contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP)
