Position Summary:

We are a self-pay billing company seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Revenue Cycle Manager to support and oversee daily operations. This role focuses on patient billing, collections, and account resolution, ensuring a positive customer experience while maximizing revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day revenue cycle operations for self-pay accounts
  • Oversee patient billing, payment processing, and account follow-up
  • Monitor accounts receivable and reduce outstanding balances
  • Support collection strategies while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Handle escalated account issues and work toward timely resolution
  • Analyze reports to identify trends, aging accounts, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable billing regulations
  • Train, support, and guide team members to meet performance goals

Qualifications:

  • 2�5 years of experience in revenue cycle, billing, collections, or healthcare finance (self-pay experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of patient billing and collections processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations professionally
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with billing software and account management systems preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
