Animal Care Hospital is seeking an outgoing, reliable Client Service Representative / Kennel Assistant to become the next member of our incredible team. This unique split role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in both exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe environment for our patients and clients.

As the face of the hospital, our Client Service Representatives greet visitors with warmth and compassion, helping to foster trust in our veterinary team and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. In this portion of the role, you will schedule and manage appointments, provide empathetic customer service while multitasking between a multi-line phone system and in-person clients, process financial transactions, answer questions, and share information about the services we provide.

As part of our Kennel team, you will play a vital role behind the scenes by helping maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital environment. Kennel Assistant responsibilities include janitorial and housekeeping duties such as cleaning and sanitizing kennels, treatment areas, and common spaces; restocking supplies; and supporting the team to ensure a safe and comfortable space for patients, clients, and staff.

This is a flexible, part-time position, with availability needed Monday through Sunday: morning, evening and some all day shifts.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 1+ years of client service experience
  • Previous veterinary experience is desired
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Client communication
    • Booking appointments
    • Cleaning, organizing and stocking
    • Comfortable with boarded pets
    • Walking, cleaning kennels and basic animal care
