Rowland Veterinary Services is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to become the next member of our incredible team. As the face of the hospital, our CSRs greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
In this role, you will:
- Manage appointments and maintain an organized daily schedule
- Assist clients in person and over a multi-line phone system
- Handle high call volume while providing accurate, consistent information
- Process payments and support client check-in and check-out
- Complete patient intake and support exam room flow
- Provide light patient restraint and assist the medical team as needed
- Scribe during appointments and ensure clear communication between clients and clinicians
- Process medication refill requests and respond to common client questions confidently
Our CSRs manage busy surgery drop-off mornings, high call volume throughout the day, and heavy afternoon traffic with multiple clients, calls on hold, and simultaneous check-ins. Comfort working in a dynamic environment and staying organized under pressure is essential.
Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a 4x10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturday shifts.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 1+ years of customer service experience is REQUIRED
- Previous veterinary experience is preferred
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Client service and communication
- Managing phone lines and high call volume
- Booking appointments/attention to detail
- Gentle patient restraint and handling (training provided)
- Medical scribe duties & interest in learning medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
