<p style="margin: 0px;"><span>Performs correct coding (CPT4/ICD10) for provider services; audits services billed without prior coding review to ensure accuracy; provides education, payer coding updates and documentation to leaders and providers to ensure coding is being performed based on current guidelines; performs periodic reviews and ongoing audits of claims to ensure accuracy of coding/billing and sufficiency of supporting documentation; audits specific number of records per provider as defined in the system coding audit plan; prepares audit reports that are issued to key stakeholder, as appropriate; assists in the development of action plans to address opportunities for coding/billing and documentation improvement; identifies trends and educational opportunities; prepares and presents educational programs related to coding; assists in the management of coding/billing auditing and monitoring program to address high risk compliance areas; assists with charge entry as needed; resolves denials based on coding errors; assists with training on items identified by trends; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><em><strong>Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.</strong></em></p>
