<li>Conduct surveys and mapping of routes for new pipeline construction, pipeline relocations and replacements, well locations and tracts of land for WBI Energy Transmission and other business units as requested.  Directs WBI Energy Transmission or contract personnel assisting with surveys and mapping.</li>
<li>Prepares, signs, and certifies legal exhibits, plats, certificates of survey, permits and other legal documents as required by law. Directs professional land surveys performed by company survey personnel.</li>
<li>Prepares applications and supportive information required for state and federal permits for right-of-way applications, roads and highway crossings, river crossings, etc.</li>
<li>Prepares designs and drawings for pipeline facilities, e.g. valve assemblies, spans, river crossings, well exhibits, etc.</li>
<li>Consults with contractors and engineers regarding ongoing projects.</li>
<li>Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Land Surveyor

Surveying duties, permit preparation, and document certification; two-year degree or equivalent experience; 4 years for mid level, 7+ for senior; PLS licensure plus CAD and GPS experience.

Two-year degree in surveying tech/geomatics or equivalent; 4+ years (Surveyor) or 7+ years (Sr.); PLS license; ability to obtain licensure in service territory within 1 year; AutoCAD and GPS experience.

<h3>Experiences and Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Assist in Design and Planning: Help senior engineers in the design and planning of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, or utilities.
</li>
<li>
Drafting and Modeling: Use software tools like AutoCAD or Civil 3D to assist in drafting design plans, blueprints, and 3D models for various engineering projects.
</li>
<li>
Conduct Site Inspections: Assist with site visits and inspections to ensure that projects are being built according to design specifications and regulatory standards.
</li>
<li>
Documentation and Reporting: Help prepare technical reports, progress updates, and maintain records of project developments and modifications.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with Teams: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including construction managers, and project managers, to ensure projects are on track and meet deadlines.
</li>
<li>
Learning & Development: Attend training sessions and meetings to learn about the latest trends in civil engineering and construction management.
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements:</h3>
Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
The employee is regularly required to:

The employee must:
