We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Corporate Treasury / CIO Engineering team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
· Lead implementation of scalable and robust full-stack applications using Core Java, Advanced Java, Python, and Angular
· Practical expertise in Applied AI, including familiarity with AI models, prompt engineering techniques, working with the OpenAI API, and experience with MCP
· Practical Experience with using AI coding tools – GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor
· Design and develop software applications using Test Driven Development with Spring Boot Microservices architecture
· Create dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.
· Partner with business and subject matter experts to define requirements and deliver strategic data solutions.
· Execute the full software development lifecycle, applying security, privacy, and quality assurance best practices. Hands on coding experience is required.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
· 10 plus years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
· Strong expertise and in depth knowledge of Java, Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot), design patterns, Microservices architecture, and Restful APIs
· Proficiency in front-end development with Angular
· Strong understanding of DevOps principles, best practice for coding and Agile development
· Proven Experience with unit testing frameworks, test driven development
· Knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and application engine deployments
· Ability to address and fix security vulnerabilities like SQL Injection, XSS, and CSRF
· Critical thinking mindset with a focus on execution and continuous learning
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

 <li>Build and operate automated capabilities that deliver best-in-class support for server provisioning, disaster recovery services, and related platform workflows.</li>
 <li>Own the software development lifecycle end to end: translate initiatives into clear requirements, document scope, lead design reviews, code, test, and promote changes through environments using Agile methodologies and governance processes.</li>

 BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $195,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
