Both systems represent a modernization effort aimed at protecting Marines from air threats, specifically unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), cruise missiles, and aircraft. GBAD program aims to detect, track, identify, and defeat adversary air threats. It is focused on accelerating the delivery of counter-UAS (C-UAS) technology to Marines. The MFEW system is a crucial, rapidly deployed tool for electronic warfare (EW), often used to support the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF). The ideal candidate will be at the forefront in the design, development and execution of complex systems as well as developing and executing test and evaluation procedures.
